PAOLA PEÑA:

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Paola Peña began her music career as a drummer in local bands in the 90s. She studied music at the EMBA in Buenos Aires, and later on began her DJ studies at Sonica Academy in Buenos Aires. Then she moved to Miami where she took some scratch classes at Scratch Academy based in Miami Beach, and also began spinning House at local private parties and non-profit events. Getting serious about electronic music, she became identified with the Progressive House and Dark Progressive style, following her idol Hernan Cattaneo from Argentina. On 2006 she was called by Tazz Pub in Buenos Aires to participate in some events, and she also meets the renamed Aldo Haydar who introduces her with some local DJs in town. She also participated on several Winter Music Conference 2006, 2007 and 2008 events and pool parties in Miami Beach. On Summer 2007 she travelled to Spain, discovering the Minimal sound of the European Summer, participating in some events at local pubs in barcelona and also at beach parties at MC Beach in Marbella, following her renamed friend and local producer DJ ASPEC from Malaga. Late 2007 she began her production studies at SAE Institute in Miami, sharing her time among USA, Argentina and Spain, offering all her love and music to the public.
