This Portuguese project started in 1999 by Pedro Oliveira and Sergio Loren when they left Skambalhota, Ska band where Sergio was the vocalist and Pedro the Drummer... They traded normal analogic music for synths and computers playing in the midle of the nature...

In 2001 they split continuing Pedro as solo... at the end of the year Zaraus joined Sub-atomic, English west country promoter wich has boosted its bookings from England and Portugal to France, Scotland, Wales, Spain, Morroco, Amsterdam and since 2004 regular tours in Brasil. Zaraus has released 6 tracks and has an album ready to come out. Zaraus´s music has powerfull melodies, strong low frequencies in a fast foward rithm...

12th February 08 - After a great new year in Brasil Zaraus is now back in Portugal reparing for the summer season just ahead... With new and refreshed inspiration came also the idea of a new website wich will be put online soon!! Buddha Mantra´s 2nd compilation "Cosmic Desorder" came out and is blasting all over the planet... Check it out
